On 26 May 2011, the rules about cookies on websites changed. This site uses cookies. One of the cookies we use is essential for parts of the site to operate and has already been set. Our analytics partners (Google Analytics and AddThis) may place “tracking cookies” on your computer. We are telling you about this upfront, and we want you to know how to get rid of these tracking cookies if you want to.
These tracking cookies are very small text files that can tell our partner how you are using our site and how you got here, they usually don’t record your name or other personally identifiable information. They are used extensively on the World Wide Web, however, often, their presence is only made know inside lengthy privacy documents.
You are able to change your preferences in your Web browser to control cookies. You can usually choose to accept cookies from the site you are on, but block them from third parties. In others, you can block cookies from specific advertisers, clear out all cookies, block cookies all together or partially.
Delete Cookies in Internet Explorer
Ensure you are running the latest version of Internet Explorer. Select the Tools menu from the Internet Explorer window, and click Delete Browsing History.
In the Delete Browsing History window, check the box next to Cookies. Uncheck everything else if you want to remove just the cookies.
Now click Delete to remove all cookies stored within the Internet Explorer browser.
Delete Cookies in Google Chrome
For Google Chrome version 14 and on, click on the spanner icon in the upper-right corner of the Chrome window. Then select Options.
In the Options page, click Under the Hood.
Under Privacy section, click Content Settings.
Under Cookies section, click All cookies and site data.
When the cookie list appears, click the Remove All button to delete all stored cookies.
Delete Cookies in Firefox
Ensure you're using the latest version of Firefox, then select the Firefox menu. Then select Options and then Options again.
Click the Privacy tab to bring up the user-privacy options.
Under the History section, click Remove Individual Cookies link.
At the bottom of the Cookies window that now appears, click the Remove All Cookies button to delete all cookies stored in the Firefox browser.
Delete Cookies in Safari
Make sure you're running version 5 or later of Apple's Safari browser. Click Safari in the menu, then Preferences. From there, select Reset Safari.
Check the box Remove all website data. You can uncheck everything else if you only want to remove the cookies.
Click the Reset button to remove all cookies associated with Safari.
You can also set your cookie preferences by selecting Preferences, then click the Privacy icon, then choose your settings.
